PROJECTS
OR YAROK

Israel is the OECD country with the largest number of vehicles per capita, due to the small territory of the country. Choosing the car instead of public transport happens to still be a very common option. This organization, called “Or Yarok”, in Portuguese “Green Light” was founded in 1995. Its foundation comes from the recognition of the importance of reducing the occurrence of accidents on Israeli roads. The organization’s objective is to reduce the number of deaths and injuries as much as possible through actions that seek to change driving culture in Israel. From this foundation, the organization managed and still manages to mobilize Israeli society, which unfortunately still has high rates of car accidents for a developed country.
